My new lampshades, they come in 3 sizes, 20cm 30cm and 40cm diameter, they are made using hand dyed fabrics, applique and free motion embroidery techniques, also hand stitching, beads and loose whiskers on the Hare. They can be ordered via email at the moment but hope to put them on Etsy soon.

The fabrics are hand dyed and stitched using a log cabin patchwork technique the animals are appliqued then free motion stitched in place with details in couching and machine embroidery detailing. The chairs are fully restored and painted with Annie Sloan paints and waxes and given a distressed look, the upholstery has new foam and the embroidery is treated with flame retardant spray.

Both embroideries are made using hand dyed fabric and hand embroidery for a change, they are framed in hand painted and distressed frames.
